About the Role
We are a well-established law firm in Irvine, CA, seeking a highly organized and motivated Legal Assistant to join our litigation team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment supporting civil litigation attorneys. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a point of contact for clients—gather documents and information necessary for discovery.
File legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with court rules.
Manage attorneys’ calendars: schedule hearings, calculate critical deadlines, and track case timelines.
Prepare and draft legal forms, filings, and correspondence.
Assist with preparation of discovery and other legal documents, based on experience level.
Support general office operations and administrative tasks
Preferred Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a legal assistant or litigation support role.
Proficiency with state and federal court filing procedures (electronic and in-person).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
