Marrs Griebel Law, LTD is seeking a skilled Legal Assistant to join our growing team in Albuquerque. In this position, you’ll manage complex case files from intake through trial preparation, draft polished legal documents, keep matters progressing, and serve as a dependable partner to our attorneys. Compensation We offer a compensation model based on billed hours, which allows our assistants to be rewarded directly for the work they contribute. • Hourly rate: $45/hr-$60/hr, based on experience • Earning potential: $75,000–$125,000+/year • Full benefits package Responsibilities: • Manage case files from intake through resolution, including deadline tracking and team updates. • Organize, review, and summarize documents, discovery materials, and deposition transcripts. • Communicate with clients to gather information and support discovery responses. • Draft basic pleadings, discovery requests/responses, chronologies, and professional correspondence. • Prepare and produce documents, including organizing, reviewing, and Bates-labeling. • Assist with deposition and trial preparation by organizing exhibits, outlines, binders, and related filings. • Support attorneys with factual research, filing/serving pleadings, and ensuring calendaring accuracy. Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of substantive legal support or experience. • Strong organization, case management, and multitasking skills. • Excellent legal writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. • Able to work independently, prioritize well, and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with New Mexico and Federal court procedures (arbitration a plus). • Experience with discovery and large-scale document production. • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and ideally SharePoint. • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required. Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 OTE
