    Marrs Griebel Law, LTD is seeking a highly capable Legal Assistant to join our growing Albuquerque team. This is a high-impact role for someone who takes ownership, drives results, and wants their contributions to be recognized and valued. In this position, you will manage complex case files from intake through trial preparation, draft high-quality legal documents, maintain case momentum, and serve as a reliable partner to attorneys. The ideal candidate brings strong legal experience, excellent writing and organizational skills, and the ability to independently manage a fast-paced caseload while demonstrating accountability, professionalism, and pride in delivering exceptional work. Compensation We offer a compensation model based on billed hours, which allows our assistants to be rewarded directly for the work they contribute. • Hourly rate: $45/hr-$60/hr, based on experience • Earning potential: $75,000–$125,000+/year • Full benefits package Responsibilities: • Own case file management from intake through resolution, including tracking deadlines and providing status updates to the legal team. • Organize, analyze, and summarize case documents, discovery materials, and deposition transcripts. • Serve as a client point of contact to collect information and assist with discovery and case preparation. • Draft routine pleadings, discovery requests and responses, case chronologies, and professional legal correspondence. • Prepare and finalize document productions, including review, organization, and Bates labeling. • Support deposition and trial preparation by assembling exhibits, binders, outlines, and required filings. • Assist attorneys with factual research, e-filing and service of pleadings, and maintaining accurate court and case calendars. Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of substantive legal support or experience. • Strong organization, case management, and multitasking skills. • Excellent legal writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. • Able to work independently, prioritize well, and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with New Mexico and Federal court procedures (arbitration a plus). • Experience with discovery and large-scale document production. • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and ideally SharePoint. • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required. Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 OTE
