Marrs Griebel Law, LTD is seeking a skilled legal assistant to join our fast-growing team in Albuquerque. Compensation We offer a compensation model based on billed hours, which allows our assistants to be rewarded directly for the work they contribute. • Hourly rate: $45/hr-$60/hr, based on experience • Earning potential: $75,000–$125,000+/year • Full benefits package Responsibilities: • Manage case files, track deadlines, and keep the team updated on case progress. • Organize, review, and summarize documents and discovery materials. • Work directly with clients to collect documents and assist with discovery responses. • Draft basic pleadings, discovery requests/responses, chronologies, and correspondence. • Prepare and produce documents, including organizing, reviewing, and Bates-labeling. • Assist with deposition prep by organizing exhibits and creating draft outlines. • Support trial prep by assembling exhibits, lists, binders, and filings. • Provide in-person support at trials or hearings when needed. • Summarize depositions and perform factual research. • Help file and serve pleadings and double-check calendaring for accuracy. Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of substantive legal support or experience. • Strong organization, case management, and multitasking skills. • Excellent legal writing, editing, and proofreading abilities. • Able to work independently, prioritize well, and meet deadlines. • Familiarity with New Mexico and Federal court procedures (arbitration a plus). • Experience with discovery and large-scale document production. • Proficient with MS Office, Adobe, and ideally SharePoint. • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience required. Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 OTE
