The purpose of this role is to help families by preparing and organizing legal documents, and client communication. This is an in-office role, Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30, and does require travel between the Marietta and Woodstock offices. Responsibilities: What will you do? • The primary responsibilities of this role are to prepare legal documents for client signing meetings, keep the client informed while facilitating the processing of the legal documents between the planning and signing meetings, and complete the execution of the legal documents • Develop knowledge of the legal documents that the firm creates for clients, including which documents are included with specific services (general estate planning, revocable living trusts, irrevocable asset protection trusts, special needs trusts, etc.) • Have familiarity with our services to answer general client questions about our services and legal documents without giving legal advice • Prepare the legal documents for the signing ceremony by printing, reviewing, quality checking, tabbing and organizing the documents. • File, organize, and maintain documents in appropriate client files and sub-files on the cloud • Participate in the signing ceremony by developing rapport with the client while providing the Witness or notarization services • Acquire Trust identification numbers from the IRS. Notify agents and trustees of documents being sent to them for execution, monitoring the status of the documents until they are returned, and updating the client on the status • Complete the required documentation and record Georgia Deeds according to the processes of the various counties.Make and validate copies/scans of final executed documents and store the files in the appropriate folders and sub-folders on the cloud • Create a final binder for each client with the appropriate original executed legal documents and an electronic version (USB drive • Provide backup services for scheduling funding meetings once all documents are signed and finalized, covering the front desk when needed, and answering phone calls • Accurately update tasks CRM (Zoho) daily • Other tasks as assigned Qualifications: What we are looking for: • Strong attention to details and proofreading • Excellent verbal communication skills • Exceptional organizational abilities • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification or degree in related field preferred • 1+ year of experience in an administrative role, or similar position in a professional office setting preferred Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
