  • Responsibilities

    We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious Legal Assistant or Paralegal to join our team. This is a 100% in-office position — remote work is not available. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys a variety of responsibilities, is comfortable interacting with clients, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: • Greet clients and visitors in a professional, welcoming manner • Answer and route incoming phone calls as the primary point of contact • Open, sort, and process incoming mail, identifying and routing legal and non-legal documents • Maintain and organize Dropbox and paper filing systems • Type, scan, mail, copy, and prepare legal and administrative documents • Communicate with clients when they call the office for assistance • File documents electronically and in person with courts and agencies, as needed • Perform accurate data entry into legal or office software • Manage and restock office supplies, as needed • Keep shared office areas organized and tidy (reception, copy room, break room, etc.) • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with data privacy standards • Support attorneys and staff with general day-to-day office tasks, as needed Qualifications: • Paralegal certification highly preferred • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities • High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures • Skilled at using Dropbox, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, basic office equipment, legal practice tools, and other cloud-based programs • Inquisitive mindset with a willingness to learn and take initiative • Ability to manage both digital and paper files efficiently • Professional demeanor and a positive attitude Compensation: $55,000 - $70,000 yearly
