Job Summary
We are an Elder Law office in Seminole, Pinellas County, Florida. Our practice includes estate planning and probate and trust administration. We are seeking a legal assistant or paralegal with prior experience in estate planning and probate. Knowledge of Prevail case management system would be helpful but not required.
Responsibilities
Prepare and proof legal documents including estate planning documents and probate pleadings
Ensure that file is well organized and available for review
Maintain and update documentation
Provide general administrative support
Greet Clients as they come in for appointments
Answer phones and schedule appointments
Qualifications
2 years previous estate planning experience is required
Familiarity with legal procedures, terminology, and the court system
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized with document management experience
Comfortable Microsoft Office and case management software (Prevail)
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
