Hybrid/Remote work is not offered at our firm. • Hourly Pay: $22–$25 per hour (depending on experience) • 401(k) Retirement Plan: Participate in the Firm’s 401(k) with a 3% match on contributions • Health Insurance: The Firm covers a pre-selected base cost of the employee’s medical premium; employees are responsible for any dependent premiums • Optional Insurance: Dental and vision insurance are available at your own cost • Additional Benefits: After your first 60 days, you’ll have access to a wide range of optional benefits through our partnership with ADP, including: • Short-term and long-term disability • Life insurance • Pet insurance • And many other supplemental coverage options • Paid Time Off & Holidays: 16 available PTO days per year, 6 paid holidays throughout the year, plus our traditional firm-wide holiday firm closure from Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day (Monday-Thursday are paid during this break) Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: • Answer and route incoming calls , responding to caller inquiries with professionalism and care, taking detailed messages if needed • Request and track medical records, itemized medical billing, police reports, balance verifications, health insurance liens, and moreOpen claims with insurance companies and request policy documents **** • Be the firm's Document Specialist; Handle all incoming general email, mail, and fax correspondence and methodically organize, name, upload, and disburse documents to the legal team. • Send check payments for the requested invoices • Maintain the organization of electronic client files • Provide overflow support to attorneys and case managers, including requests, scanning, mailing, data entry, and special projects • Follow up on pending requests for demand-ready files to support case resolution Qualifications: What We’re Looking For: • Minimum 1-2 years of legal assistant experience in a personal injury firm • Excellent communication and organizational skills • High attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a deadline-driven environment • Professional and empathetic demeanor, especially when handling sensitive matters • Technologically proficient—comfortable with Microsoft Office and learning new systems ( Filevine experience is a plus ) • Someone who takes initiative and thrives in a collaborative setting • Bilingual is preferred Compensation: $22 - $25 hourly
