    Pugh & Pugh Attorneys at Law, P.A., seeks a sharp legal assistant for our busy law firm who can help our attorneys and paralegals assist clients and keep the office running smoothly. You will work with the team to onboard new clients, handle office correspondence like answering emails and phone calls, schedule meetings, and prepare court documents. If you are an excellent multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: • Facilitate new client intake, including collecting case details to determine area of practice, sending new client forms, scheduling consultations, and opening new case files in the firm’s legal software • Take care of administrative tasks and office correspondence by answering phone calls and emails • Send legal invoices by email and mail, and accept client payments • Prepare, proofread, and format basic legal documents, correspondence, and contracts under the supervision of an attorney, and proofread documents prepared by others as necessary Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required • Organization skills and communication skills required • Prior experience as a legal assistant, paralegal, or in a similar administrative role preferred • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, capacity to learn legal document management systems, and comfortable working at a computer for a large portion of the day • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment Compensation: $18 - $23 hourly
