  • Responsibilities

    The Legal Assistant role will provide essential administrative and case support to the Case Managers handling personal injury matters. The Legal Assistant will play a key part in maintaining case organization, requesting critical documentation, and ensuring communication is timely and professional. Ability to commute/relocate: 64060, Obispado, N. L.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Responsibilities: • Provide daily administrative support to assigned Case Managers. • Request and follow up on police reports, crash reports, incident documentation, and medical records. • Maintain organized and up-to-date digital case files, ensuring all documentation is properly labeled and stored in our case management system. • Draft basic client correspondence, including appointment reminders, document requests, and case updates. • Assist in obtaining billing records and treatment summaries from medical providers. • Track requests and deadlines to ensure timely follow-up with providers and agencies. • Conduct regular file reviews and cleanup to ensure accurate notes, tabs, and documentation within Filevine. • Coordinate with the legal team to support the preparation of demand packages and settlement documents. • Perform general clerical and data entry tasks related to legal casework. Qualifications: • Prior experience in legal or administrative support, preferably in personal injury or medical-related fields. • Excellent communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. • Proficient in remote work tools and case management software (Filevine experience is a plus). • Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines independently. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
