  • Responsibilities

    We're adding a Legal Assistant to support three busy attorneys in our Personal Injury Litigation Department. If you're organized, a natural communicator, and great with calendars, we'd love to talk! Please submit your resume and cover letter. Responsibilities: • Schedule and coordinate attorney appointments, depositions, mediation sessions, and client prep meetings. • Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, mediators, court reporters, videographers, and translators. • Reserve conference rooms as needed and send confirmation/reminder emails to all parties. • Maintain and manage each assigned attorney's Calendly scheduling system. • Make travel arrangements for attorneys, including transportation and lodging. • Mail outgoing correspondence and maintain records of communication. • Monitor deadlines related to scheduled events and flag conflicts or issues. • Provide administrative support to attorneys and paralegals, including scanning, copying, and data entry. • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems. • Prepare cover letters and simple form correspondence as directed. Qualifications: • Highly organized and detail-oriented. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Friendly and professional demeanor with clients and legal professionals. • Able to manage multiple moving parts and deadlines with minimal supervision. • Comfortable with technology and legal software platforms. Preferred Skills & Experience • Prior experience as a legal assistant, legal secretary, or in a legal office is a bonus but not required. • Familiarity with personal injury litigation processes is a plus. • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). • Experience with scheduling tolls (e.g., Calendly) and case management systems (Filevine preferred).
