    We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Assistant to provide in-office support and serve as backup on our phones for a busy estate planning, probate, guardianship, and litigation practice in Arizona. About the role • In-office position supporting attorneys, paralegals, and the operations team • Serves as backup on incoming phone calls and client communications • Helps keep the office running smoothly for both staff and clients Responsibilities: • Answer and route incoming calls, take detailed messages, and provide friendly, professional client service • Greet clients and visitors, manage the reception area, and handle in-office client needs • Schedule and confirm appointments, maintain attorney and office calendars • Prepare, proofread, and format letters and basic legal documents from templates under attorney supervision • Scan, file, and organize physical and electronic documents in the case management system • Assist with mailing, copying, office supply management, and other administrative tasks as needed Qualifications: • Prior experience in a law firm, legal assistant, or receptionist role preferred, but strong administrative experience will be considered • Excellent phone etiquette, written and verbal communication skills, and a client-service mindset • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to follow established processes • Comfortable learning legal software and working with digital files and calendars • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in the office during regular business hours Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 yearly
