Your day will fly by quickly, as this position has intense and on-going relational interactions with both prospective clients and established clients of the firm throughout the day. This position requires a positive outlook and a genuine desire to help older adults. There is heavy client interaction, coordination, and tracking for successful progression through our proven client management system, and so you need to possess technological savvy and the ability to quickly pick up new software programs, if you don’t have prior training in those programs. Review our website to familiarize yourself with our representation style, overall mission, and purpose Responsibilities: • Direct report to the attorney • Job duties include all facets of client support including legal document preparation, scanning, copying, organizing client communications, ensuring the attorney is prepared to serve the client efficiently and completely, ensuring a smooth client experience throughout the entire elder law estate planning process and general office support Qualifications: • The candidate should be extremely proficient in Outlook for calendar and email with the ability to efficiently and effectively work within a heavily loaded calendar. • Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred • Zoom experience preferred • Organized follow up and task completion • High attention to detail • Proof-reading and editing skills • An Associate's degree, Bachelor's preferred • Fast, but accurate, proficiencies • Familiarity with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Refined telephone, interpersonal, and written communication skills, • A solid work ethic • Patience and empathy when dealing with all age ranges, but particularly older adults. • Ability to prioritize with the ability to be constructively corrected, redirected and reprioritized, in the attorney’s discretion, as needed. • Flexibility and composure under pressure • Possess vehicle for Post Office deliveries, handling all aspects of off-site events, travel to Wilmington satellite office or courthouses as needed and other assignments as directed.
