Our busy estate planning and probate law firm is looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and effective legal assistant to assist our attorneys and paralegals in providing excellent service and care to clients and ensure we’re operating efficiently. You’ll help draft legal documents, and handle all office correspondence, including answering phone calls and emails, arranging meetings and travel, and reminding the team of upcoming deadlines. Responsibilities: • Assist the paralegals and attorneys with the production of legal documents, correspondence, and ensure internal and external deadlines are met. • Support our Intake Coordinator as needed • Provide an exceptional client experience to keep clients up-to-date and move their matters along. Qualifications: • Must be comfortable reaching out to clients, picking up the telephone to call clients and potential clients, and being proactive with communication. • Careful attention to detail. • Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment. • Proficient with MS Office products. • Some knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs. • An associate’s degree or some college is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. • Candidates should have strong organizational and communication skills. Compensation: $52,000 yearly
