    Our fast-paced criminal law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized legal assistant to support our attorneys and paralegals in delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you’ll assist with the preparation of legal documents, manage office communications—including phone calls, emails, and correspondence—and coordinate meetings while tracking important deadlines. Responsibilities: • Opening and Closing Cases - CRM • Processing Court updates - Physical and CRM • Scheduling meetings - Attorney/Client • Monitoring Inboxes - processing emails and integrations • Tracking case stages • Mailing correspondence, answering phones • Work within the firm's established policies and procedures for processing client communications, court paperwork, and internal and external documents. Qualifications: • College degree is preferred, but will accept significant legal or office work experience • Minimum of 2-3 years previous experience working in a law firm or professional office environment performing administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, and use of CRM software • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Knowledge of legal software, case management, and docketing programs is a plus • Proficient in Mac computer OS, Apple Mail, Google Suite • Strong customer service, organization, and problem-solving skills • Ability to work on a team Compensation: $20 - $24 hourly DOE
