This is a hands-on operational role, not just a “front desk” position. As our Legal Assistant, you are responsible for making sure the office runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally every day. You will own the administrative backbone of the firm and ensure that nothing falls through the cracks. Your success will be measured by how well the team is supported and how seamlessly the office operates. Responsibilities: • Ordering and managing office supplies • Managing vendor relationships • Paying bills and tracking recurring expenses • Printing and assembling trust binders prior to client signings • Scanning documents after client signings and coordinating binder hand-off to clients • Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic client files while ensuring confidentiality • Assisting with amendments and deed filings • Assisting with email management and travel arrangements for our Lead Attorney • Overseeing general office organization and cleanliness • Answering phones and greeting visitors professionally • Supporting attorneys and staff with day-to-day office needs • Identifying small operational issues before they become problems What Success Looks Like • The office runs smoothly without constant oversight • The team feels supported and able to focus on their work • Tasks are handled proactively, not reactively Qualifications: You are encouraged to apply if you are: • Highly organized and structured • Someone who naturally takes ownership and creates order • Mature and professional in how you carry yourself • Warm, kind, and respectful • Comfortable working independently • Proactive — you solve problems before they escalate • Skilled at communicating clearly and calmly • Able to manage multiple small tasks without feeling overwhelmed • Someone who values harmony but is not afraid to take ownership We are building a professional, positive, high-functioning team. Qualifications : • 1-3 years of office management/legal assistant experience required • Experience in an estate planning law firm is a plus but not required Compensation: $25 - $30 hourly depending on experience
