    Location: U.S. Attorney’s Office, District of Colorado Worksite: Onsite – 1801 California Street, Suite 1600, Denver, CO 80202 Employment Type: Full-Time (40 hours/week) Clearance Requirement: Favorable SSBI – DOJ Risk Level 4 Start Date: Anticipated September 1, 2025

    Position Overview

    Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies is seeking two qualified Legal Assistants to support the mission of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado. These full-time, on-site positions will provide legal and administrative support to attorneys and paralegals in both civil and criminal divisions. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in legal office environments, possess strong organizational skills, and be comfortable supporting a dynamic federal legal team.

    Key Responsibilities

    Prepare a variety of legal documents and correspondence in final format

    Assist attorneys with case preparation and court proceedings

    Manage legal files, including organization, archiving, and electronic discovery intake

    Maintain and update calendars, assemble trial and grand jury exhibits

    Electronically file legal documents through CM/ECF (training provided)

    Support file closure, completeness, and record retention compliance

    Provide administrative support for mail, move coordination, and courtroom runs

    Serve as back-up receptionist as needed

    Complete special assignments in coordination with Administrative Division

    Minimum Qualifications

    U.S. citizenship and ability to meet DOJ residency requirements (lived in the U.S. 3 of the last 5 years)

    Must currently have and be able to maintain a favorable DOJ background investigation (SSBI, Risk Level 4)

    High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)

    At least 1 year of experience in a legal or federal office environment

    Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and reliability

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and comfort working in digital file systems

    Additional Information

    Work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (no telework)

    Federal holidays observed; occasional travel for training may be required
