Job Summary
Our law office is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to join our team. We focus on trust and estate planning, probate, and related matters. Experience in conservatorships and guardianships is a plus.
The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and able to manage multiple responsibilities in a busy legal environment. While prior legal experience is preferred, we are willing to train a qualified candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to learn quickly.
Responsibilities
Schedule appointments and maintain attorney calendars
Assist with preparation of estate planning and probate documents
Draft correspondence and emails
Assist with formatting legal documents and filing with court
Communicate with clients in a professional and client-centered manner
Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems
Sort and scan mail
Coordinate with courts and vendors as needed
Maintain office procedures and assist with administrative tasks
Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish (required)
Prior experience in trust and estate planning, probate, conservatorship, or guardianship matters preferred
