    Job Summary

    We’re seeking a Legal Assistant with 1–3 years of estate planning experience to join our Clear Lake team. This role supports attorneys in delivering timely, accurate, and empathetic service to our clients. You’ll assist with document preparation, client communication, and case management, ensuring every detail is handled with care.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare and review estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.)

    • Coordinate client meetings and maintain communication throughout the planning process

    • Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and document workflows

    • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and intake staff to ensure smooth operations

    • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and case progress

    • Assist with notarizing and witnessing documents as needed

    • Support firm initiatives to improve client experience and internal processes

    Requirements

    • 1–3 years of experience in estate planning or related legal field preferred

    • Strong organizational and communication skills

    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and confidentiality

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Wealth Counsel or similar platforms is a plus

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines independently

    Location & Compensation

    Location: In-person at one of our Houston-area offices: Sugar Land, Katy, Clear Lake, or the Galleria
    Compensation: $42,000–$48,000 annually, commensurate with experience
    Schedule: Full-time
