Our law firm is seeking a billing specialist to work in our accounting department and assist our billing attorneys with revising, processing, and issuing accurate monthly billing. You’ll be required to perform consistent follow-up in this role, so experience with accounts receivable is highly preferred. This position will also support general office operations, including answering phones, assisting with administrative tasks, and helping with light marketing efforts. Responsibilities: Primary: • Generate and send client invoices • Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances • Handle collections in a professional, client-friendly manner • Maintain accurate billing records and reports Secondary: • Answer phones and manage general office communications • Coordinate schedules, vendors, and office needs • Assist with basic marketing tasks (email campaigns, social posts, CRM updates) • Provide general administrative support Bonus / Preferred: • Experience with IOLTA account reconciliation Qualifications: • A high school diploma or equivalent is needed; some college is an asset • Able to produce a high quality work product while handling multiple projects • Two years of experience working as in a billing specialist position at a law firm • Advanced computer proficiency, especially with MS Office, Excel, and billing software programs • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills are needed in this role Compensation: $45,000 - $60,000 yearly
