Our busy law firm is seeking a part-time Billing Specialist to support our dynamic financial operations. This role manages the full billing lifecycle—from invoice preparation to payment application—while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance with legal accounting standards. The Billing Specialist will work closely with attorneys, intake, and accounting to keep client accounts current, properly apply payments, and maintain reliable financial data for reporting and forecasting. Responsibilities: • Adhere closely to the firm's billing cycle and all financial procedures • Collect and apply client payments (LawPay, credit card, check, cash) • Process client expenses and refunds • Reconcile client accounts between MyCase and QuickBooks • Prepare, review, and issue client invoices • Assist with new client contracts, collections (to replenish client accounts), and phone support as needed Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent (higher education is a plus) • Proficient with computers and technology • Ability to multitask with strong attention-to-detail • Well-developed organizational and communication skills • At least 2 years of verifiable experience in a professional office setting required; Law firm experience preferred Compensation: $50,000 - $62,500 based on experience
