    Our law firm is seeking an organized self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager and work alongside attorneys to achieve clients’ goals. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our ideal applicant will have experience in case management and be skilled at drafting documents and conducting legal research. Responsibilities: • Request and track medical records, medical bills, and lien information. • Send and follow up on public records requests (police reports, 911 calls, incident reports, etc.). • Open and manage insurance claims with all applicable carriers. • Communicate regularly with insurance adjusters regarding claim status and coverage. • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing updates and support. • Monitor clients’ medical treatment and follow up as needed. • Maintain organized, litigation-ready case files in the firm’s case management system. • Document all communications and case activity accurately and promptly in the case management system. Qualifications: • Computer proficient - specifically with case management software, word processing, and spreadsheet presentation • Case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as legal secretary, paralegal, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency • Effective organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, are needed • Self-starter with the ability to effectively manage multiple matters at once • A 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred - High school diploma is required Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 base salary + bonuses based on performance
