Bilingual (Creole/English) Legal Case Manager Our law firm is seeking a bilingual (English/Creole) self-starter to join our team as a legal case manager in our Orlando office, working alongside attorneys to achieve clients’ goals. Responsibilities: • Accepts and evaluates prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and ensuring the client feels seen and heard. • Provide prospective new clients with a level of service that leaves PNC feeling they are better off having made the phone call to our firm. This may take various forms, including but not limited to a referral to an appropriate government agency, sharing free resources produced by the firm, or others etc. • Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep schedules organized. • Facilitates new client onboarding through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently. • Is proficient in the firm’s contact management and case management software. • Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency. • Processes paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with protocols. • Communicate with other team members constructively to reduce conflict and enhance the client experience. • Respect the client with dignity and confidentiality. • Responds to calls for information requests in support of the demand. • Communicates and builds a rapport with clients, adjusters, and the physician’s office. • Performs file reviews. • Maintains the hard and electronic files to ensure they are up to date; records detailed information in the firm’s software. • Handles high call volume. • Updates colleagues on the status of work and workflow. • Escalates issues to the attorney, as necessary. • Develops and maintains detailed records regarding hours spent on specific cases. • Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and to exercise discretion and good judgment. • Motivated self-starter who can multitask and meet deadlines while prioritizing assignments. • Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of the position. • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills. • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. • Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects. • Must be able to work effectively within a team environment. • Proficient with software related to job responsibilities. Computer literacy is essential; knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Zoom. Compensation: $20 - $22 hourly
