    Our busy law office is growing, and we need a legal case manager to work alongside attorneys and achieve clients’ goals. Our ideal candidate will have experience in case management as a paralegal or legal assistant and is skilled in drafting documents, managing case files, and conducting legal research. We need someone who is an effective communicator, incredibly organized, and self-motivated. Our case managers play an essential role in ensuring that clients’ goals are met. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with outside vendors, staff, and attorneys, to manage the law firm’s case load, present case summaries/updates, and ensure that deadlines are met • Support attorneys with all aspects of case management, including billing, docketing deadlines, and providing reminders as needed • Update clients and outside counsel on case status as requested • Create legal documents for attorney review • Manage, update, and organize all case files and information with regard to engagement, whether electronic or paper, in accordance with firm policies • Review medical and billing records and draft demand letters to insurance companies • Communicate with insurance companies and update them about clients' treatment status • Follow up with clients and medical providers regarding clients' treatment status Qualifications: • Ability to multitask and stay self-motivated • High school diploma is required - 2-year degree and Paralegal certification are acceptable, but a Bachelor’s degree is preferred • Exceptional organizational skills as well as effective communication skills, both written and oral are needed • Previous case management process experience is needed - preferably as a personal injury case manager, or related jobs such as paralegal, legal secretary, or legal assistant at a law firm, non-profit, or human services agency • Comfortable with computer programs, such as spreadsheet presentation, word processing, and case management software Compensation: $40,000 - $60,000 per year
