  • Responsibilities

    The Case Manager is responsible for obtaining, organizing, and maintaining all client information and documentation acquired during the investigative phase of a case, referred to as the prelitigation stage. This position requires a highly organized and self-motivated professional with excellent communication skills. The Case Manager will be expected to uphold firm standards of confidentiality, accuracy, and professionalism while supporting both clients and internal teams. Responsibilities: • Provide exceptional client service through clear, empathetic, and timely communication with clients, colleagues, and external parties. • Follow all departmental procedures to ensure efficient completion of prelitigation tasks and case milestones—ideally within 90 days of retainer execution. • Maintain accurate, detailed case information in Litify, including task updates and all client or third-party communications. • Organize and label case documents in accordance with firm file naming conventions and document management protocols. • Safeguard client and decedent confidentiality while upholding firm policies, ethical standards, and privacy requirements. • Promote teamwork and professionalism by fostering positive relationships and actively participating in meetings and trainings. Qualifications: • Ability to be trained and adapt quickly to new processes and procedures. • Capacity to engage in detailed client conversations regarding medical incidents and review sensitive or graphic case-related materials. • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Effective written and verbal communication skills. Compensation: $55,000
