Location: Denver, CO (Onsite, no telework) Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Position Overview
Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC (Cornerstone) is seeking a Legal Clerk to provide full-time onsite support to the United States Attorney’s Office – District of Colorado. The selected candidate will play a vital role in the Witness Management Program, assisting Victim-Witness personnel, supporting Assistant U.S. Attorneys, and ensuring compliance with the Crime Victims’ Rights Act (CVRA). This is an exciting opportunity to support federal judicial processes in a professional legal environment.
Responsibilities
Provide clerical and administrative support for the Witness Management Program.
Assist Victim-Witness personnel with scheduling, preparation, and coordination of witnesses in federal proceedings.
Prepare, organize, and maintain case files, records, and official correspondence.
Support Assistant U.S. Attorneys with document review, data entry, and case tracking.
Arrange logistics for witness travel and court appearances as needed.
Ensure compliance with DOJ policies, procedures, and the CVRA.
Serve as a professional point of contact for court personnel, victims, and witnesses.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Criminal Justice, or related field preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a legal, clerical, or administrative role (federal or court experience strongly preferred).
Knowledge of federal legal procedures, victim/witness support services, or case management processes.
Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and database entry systems.
Ability to work onsite full-time in Denver, CO.
Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a background investigation.
