    Our rapidly-growing law practice is seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join our team! We are looking for an upbeat, compassionate individual to play an integral role in our administrative team. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running, demonstrating the ability to multitask while providing exceptional customer service. In this role, compassion and empathy are vitally important, and the ideal candidate embodies this in their communication style. When clients hire us, they are going through an emotionally trying period in their lives, and our mission is to compassionately help families resolve their disputes with personalized legal representation while keeping the best interests of the entire family at heart. Our Intake Specialist is responsible for the first impressions of the firm, building and facilitating relationships with potential clients and current clients, all while supporting our attorneys. The ideal fit for this role has exceptional customer service skills and takes initiative to set our team and clients up for success. Responsibilities: The best applicant is someone who can hit the ground running: • Providing exceptional service to clients when answering phones, texts, and email • Completing intake questionnaires with potential new clients with a focus on pre-qualifying leads for consultations • Accurately entering data in our case management system and tracking database • Calendaring scheduled consultations and attorney/client meetings • Composing timely communications to potential new clients; corresponding in follow-up phone calls to ensure they have received the help they need • Opening and closing client files in paper and electronic format according to office protocol • Working with a high volume of information while undertaking a variety of legal support tasks and working diligently in a team-oriented environment Qualifications: • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred but not required • Three years of success in a customer service position • Previous experience with law firm intake or in another relevant role is preferred but not required • Be a thoughtful, empathetic individual who values relationships above transactions • Have a can-do attitude, ready to jump in and take initiative on whatever project needs your attention most • You are resilient and value growth. We all make mistakes, and we allow for that, but a penchant for accuracy and attention to detail is required to avoid mistakes that can cost clients dearly • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Teams, and Excel, required • Proficiency in AdobePro preferred • College degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required • You get a lot done while having fun along the way. You laugh and are eager to celebrate your big wins and the wins of your team Compensation: $18 - $22 hourly
