    The Intake Specialist & Client Engagement Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for prospective clients of Elderly Care Law Firm and Veterans Rights. This role is critical in ensuring compassionate, accurate, and timely intake of elderly individuals, veterans, and their families. The position also supports firm growth by participating in client demos, presentations, and outreach activities, helping educate potential clients on the firm’s services and processes. Responsibilities: Client Intake Case Screening • Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, web inquiries, and referrals • Conduct initial intake interviews with prospective clients and family members using empathy, patience, and professionalism • Gather and document relevant personal, legal, medical, and financial information accurately • Determine eligibility and appropriate legal services (elder law, veterans benefits, estate planning, Medicaid planning, etc.) • Schedule consultations with attorneys and follow up to confirm appointments • Maintain accurate records in the firm’s case management system • Client Communication Follow-Up • Provide clear explanations of firm services, processes, and next steps • Maintain ongoing communication with prospective clients to ensure timely follow-up • Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries • Ensure all interactions reflect sensitivity to elderly clients, veterans, and their families • Demo Outreach Participation • Participate in client demos, informational sessions, and firm presentations (in-person or virtual) • Assist attorneys or leadership during demos by explaining intake processes and client experience • Represent the firm professionally at community events, workshops, veteran-focused programs, and senior-focused outreach initiatives as needed • Collect and document feedback from demos and outreach activities to improve client experience Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred) • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in intake, customer service, legal intake, or healthcare intake • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational and data-entry skills • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality • Comfort speaking with elderly individuals, veterans, and family members • Professional demeanor and ability to participate in presentations or demos Core Competencies • Empathy and compassion • Attention to detail • Strong listening and interviewing skills • Professional presentation and public-facing communication • team collaboration • Problem-solving and adaptability Work Environment & Physical Requirements • Primarily office or remote work with extended periods of phone and computer use • Occasional attendance at in-person demos or community events Compensation: $35,000 - $45,000 yearly
