    We're looking for a detail-oriented and personable Intake Specialist to join our team part-time. In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for new clients/patients, gathering information, verifying eligibility, and setting the tone for a smooth, welcoming experience from day one. Full training on our intake process and systems will be provided — no prior intake experience required. Responsibilities: • Conduct initial intake interviews with new clients/patients via phone or in person, in both English and Spanish • Collect and verify demographic, insurance, and eligibility information • Explain program services, policies, and next steps clearly, confidently guiding prospects toward enrollment • Enter and maintain accurate records in the intake/case management system • Coordinate with clinical, administrative, or program staff to schedule services • Follow up on incomplete applications or missing documentation • Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA/privacy policies • Flag urgent or high-priority cases for immediate attention Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred • Bilingual required — fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) • Strong sales experience required — proven ability to build rapport, handle objections, and close • Strong communication and active listening skills • Comfortable with data entry and basic office software (Microsoft Office, EMR/case management systems) • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and empathy • Training provided — no prior intake experience necessary • Must be able to reliably commute to and work on-site at the office Hiring Process • Submit a short video (2–3 minutes) introducing yourself and sharing why you're a good fit for this role, to hiring@jerezlaw.com • Initial phone screen (15–20 min) Compensation: $21 hourly
