    The Law Offices of Anna R. Yum is a fast-paced, rapidly growing criminal defense and sexual harassment law firm that is in search of a highly motivated, personable, and task-driven Intake Specialist to join our amazing team!     Our Intake Specialist provides potential clients with the ultimate telephone and customer service experience. It requires the right combination of telephone skills, empathy, and the ability to help them understand how to see a better future using our services. This important position involves administrative duties related to customer service, client intake, client retention, and direct support with our Client Services Specialist.

    Essential Job Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
    • Ability to conduct interviews and gather information efficiently with potential clients in a professional, calm, and compassionate fashion.
    • Strong organizational skills and highly detail-oriented.
    • Shows empathy to clients and puts them at ease during their difficult time.
    • Treat a call at 4:30 on Friday with the same care and compassion as one on Monday morning.
    • Demonstrates exceptional communication skills.
    • Maintains client confidentiality at all times.
    • Highly proficient in computer skills, able to work with a case management system, and various types of software.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Adobe, and Google Sheets.
    • Proficient in data entry.
    • Follows instructions and understands the importance of policies & procedures.
    • Legal experience is a plus.
    • Customer service experience and inbound sales experience are highly preferred.

    Essential Job Duties:

    • Personally interview potential clients to determine whether the firm can assist with their specific legal needs.
    • Ability to gather information from potential clients regarding a high volume of calls.
    • Assist in assessing the financial eligibility of the potential client.
    • Communicate with potential clients to gather relevant information and provide it to the Client Services Specialist.
    • Accurately obtain data and provide metrics to the Owner.
    • Schedule and calendar in-person, remote, and or phone consultations.
    • Accurately perform data entry and analysis with respect to new client metrics.
    • Edit and revise fee agreements, collect fee agreements for signature, and follow up with clients regarding the same.
    • Perform basic clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
    • Correspond with trusted referral sources in the event that our firm cannot assist the potential client.

    This is a full-time job, so you MUST be able to work in the office for 40 hours per week. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the legal field.

    Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
