    Riley Stingley Brazas P.C. is seeking a full-time legal receptionist to join its active small-town practice. Founded more than 100 years ago, Riley Stingley Brazas is located in Fulton, Missouri and currently includes four attorneys maintaining a regional practice in a variety of legal areas.

    Work Hours: The work hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a 1-hour lunch break.

    Responsibilities:

    • Greeting Clients and Visitors: Welcoming clients and visitors, directing them to the appropriate individuals, and ensuring a positive first impression.
    • Answering and Routing Calls: Answering incoming calls, routing them to the appropriate persons, and taking messages.
    • Scheduling Appointments: Coordinating and scheduling appointments, court dates, and meetings for attorneys.
    • Handling Mail and Deliveries: Sorting and distributing incoming mail, as well as managing outgoing mail and deliveries.
    • Administrative Support: Assisting with filing, photocopying, scanning, and preparing legal documents.
    • Office Management: Maintaining the reception area and helping to manage office services such as beverages and cleaning.

    Qualifications:

    • Education: High school diploma or GED; formal qualification in office administration or secretarial work is preferred. Certification as a notary public preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, front office representative, or work in a similar role is highly preferred.
    • Skills: Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with office machines (fax, scanner, printer, etc.), ability to work in a fast-paced environment, willingness to learn and work with new software and technology, ability to work independently and with other staff members, and ability to appropriately handle constructive criticism.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to relate cordially with the attorneys, other staff, clients, and visitors.
