Role Overview

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented, and communicative Legal Recovery Specialist with experience in a legal or collections environment. This role is responsible for managing post-judgment collection efforts from start to finish while supporting internal teams to improve workflows and overall recovery performance.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities, and communicating effectively with attorneys, consumers, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and file court documents in Maryland and Georgia

Manage post-judgment collection processes from initiation through resolution

Communicate with attorneys, consumers, and third-party vendors regarding legal and financial matters

Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and case management efficiency

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local court rules and procedures across jurisdictions

Meet or exceed monthly performance goals (bonus opportunities available)

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience working in an office, legal, or collections environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in legal collections, creditor’s rights, or a law firm setting

Familiarity with post-judgment processes or court filing systems

Experience working across multiple jurisdictions

Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
