Director of Recruiting – Lemon Law (Plaintiff-Side)

About the Role
We are seeking a Director of Recruiting to build, lead, and scale the talent function for our growing Lemon Law practice. This is a high-impact, build-from-scratch leadership role responsible for driving full-cycle recruiting strategy, optimizing hiring processes, and partnering directly with executive leadership to support aggressive growth goals.
This role goes beyond execution — you will own recruiting strategy, develop infrastructure, and lead hiring across legal, operations, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Own & Build Recruiting Strategy
Design and implement a scalable recruiting strategy aligned with company growth goals
Forecast hiring needs in partnership with leadership and department heads
Build pipelines for high-priority roles including attorneys, case managers, and operations staff
Lead Full-Cycle Recruiting
Oversee and execute end-to-end recruiting: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing
Ensure a high-quality candidate experience from first touch through onboarding
Partner closely with hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring criteria
Develop & Optimize Recruiting Infrastructure
Implement and optimize ATS and recruiting tools (e.g., iCIMS, UltiPro, ADP, LinkedIn Recruiter)
Establish KPIs, reporting, and dashboards to track recruiting performance
Continuously improve workflows, processes, and hiring efficiency
Build Talent Pipelines & Employer Brand
Develop proactive sourcing strategies and long-term talent pipelines
Strengthen employer branding across platforms (LinkedIn, job boards, referrals)
Leverage networking, events, and partnerships to attract top-tier talent
Manage Offers & Closing Strategy
Lead offer process, including compensation alignment and candidate negotiations
Partner with executive leadership on competitive compensation strategies
Drive offer acceptance rates and reduce time-to-fill
Onboarding & Talent Planning
Partner with HR to ensure a seamless onboarding experience
Support workforce planning and succession planning initiatives
Help build scalable hiring frameworks to support future growth
Leadership & Collaboration
Act as a strategic partner to leadership on hiring decisions and market insights
Mentor and support future recruiting team members as the function grows
Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Qualifications
5+ years of recruiting experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or senior-level role
Proven track record of building and scaling recruiting functions in high-growth environments
Experience recruiting for legal, operations, or professional services roles (plaintiff-side experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of full-cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and closing techniques
Experience with ATS platforms such as iCIMS, UltiPro, ADP, and LinkedIn Recruiter
Data-driven mindset with experience tracking recruiting metrics and performance
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities
