We are seeking a Sales Manager with a strong background in Sales and Operations, driving KPIs, and experience in the legal industry (preferred) to lead our Sales Team and drive measurable business growth. Position Overview: The Sales Manager oversees the law firm’s sales operations to ensure that every lead is handled promptly, professionally, and efficiently. This role focuses on converting qualified leads into retained clients, improving team performance, and supporting the firm’s mission to deliver exceptional client experiences in Family Law and Criminal Defense matters. The Sales Manager will manage and coach the sales team, analyze conversion data, refine scripts and systems, and work closely with marketing and attorneys to drive consistent growth and revenue. Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management • Supervise and coach the Sales team to achieve weekly and monthly conversion goals. • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and team performance reviews. • Create accountability through data tracking, daily huddles, and KPI monitoring. • Foster a client-centered, positive, and high-performance team culture. Sales & Conversion • Ensure timely response to all leads (calls, web forms, chat, and emails). • Monitor all consultations and support attorneys with pre-consult preparation and follow-up. • Implement proven sales strategies to increase consult-to-retain conversion. • Handle or assist with high-value consultations when needed. • Track revenue from new retainers and identify trends in client decision-making. Process Optimization • Maintain and optimize the firm’s CRM. • Audit lead flow daily to ensure no leads fall through the cracks. • Improve scripts, follow-up templates, and consultation scheduling workflows. • Collaborate with marketing to review lead quality and adjust targeting. Training & Development • Train Sales team members on firm scripts, tone, and value-based selling. • Review recorded calls weekly for quality assurance and coaching. • Develop ongoing professional development and training plans for the sales team. Reporting & Strategy • Prepare weekly reports showing lead volume, consults, conversion, and revenue. • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement. • Work directly with the Managing Attorney to set and meet sales goals. Qualifications: • 3+ years in sales management, preferably in professional services or the legal industry. • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed conversion/revenue goals. • Excellent leadership, communication, and coaching skills. • Strong data analysis and reporting ability. • Strong tech skills and understanding. • Strong communication skills. • Proficiency in CRM software (Lawmatics, Clio Grow, or similar). • Knowledge of Family Law and Criminal Defense preferred. Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000
