Rosenthal, Levy, Simon & Sosa Attorneys at Law are seeking an upbeat and compassionate legal secretary/assistant in our Workers' Compensation Department. This position requires daily interactions with clients, attorneys, and other members of the support team in a very dynamic department.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Drafting correspondence to clients, medical providers, and employers/carriers.

Scheduling events i.e., telephone conferences, mediations, depositions, and hearings and management of attorney calendars.

Draft and e-file document on the Department of Administrative Hearings website.

Communications with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters and opposing counsel offices.

Providing legal support to two paralegals and two attorneys in a diverse and bustling team setting.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Bilingual - English and Spanish (required).

Experience in workers' compensation (preferred, but not required).

Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Compassion for the injured.

Detail oriented.

Excellent organization and calendaring skills.

Good grammar and presentation.

Experience using Microsoft Office, Word, Adobe and/or Kofax PDF.

Experience in Filevine (a bonus!)
