Whether working in-office, in a hybrid arrangement, or remotely, this role is essential to the success of our team and the clients we serve. This is not a passive administrative role. It is a position of responsibility, coordination, and real impact. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do • Manage deadlines to ensure all case-related tasks and court filings are completed promptly. • Maintain and coordinate attorney calendars, including scheduling hearings, meetings, and case reviews. • You will be responsible for organizing and maintaining accurate filing systems for both electronic and hard-copy documents. • Schedule depositions, client meetings, and attorney prep sessions with efficiency and attention to detail. • You will complete and manage discovery forms to support the litigation process. • Finalize pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents to ensure accuracy and readiness for filing or delivery. • Research and assist in the implementation of software programs that enhance firm operations. • Track and update case status information using Excel and other tools to ensure clear case oversight. • You will coordinate and manage staff meetings focused on case reviews and team alignment. Qualifications: What We’re Looking For • 3+ years of experience as a Legal Secretary in a civil litigation firm (Federal and California court experience preferred). • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management systems. • Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail. • Excellent written and verbal communication. • Ability to multitask, prioritize deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic legal environment. • A proactive mindset and commitment to our mission and values. • Passion for justice, teamwork, and serving clients with empathy and excellence. Compensation: $45,000 - $65,000 yearly
