    Job Description

    The Customer Service Professional provides helpful information, answers questions, and responds to complaints. They are the front line of support for customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products, services and features. They fulfill customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • Maintaining a positive, empathetic and professional attitude toward customers.
    • Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
    • Communicating with customers through various channels.
    • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints.
    • Knowing our products inside and out to accurately answer questions.
    • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments and complaints.
    • Ensure customer satisfaction and provide professional customer support.
    • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the correct methods/tools
    • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
    • Resolve customer complaints via phone, email, mail or social media
    • Take payment information and other pertinent information such as addresses and phone numbers
    • Utilize computer technology to handle high call volumes
    • Other duties as assigned

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • High school diploma or equivalent and 0-2 years minimum experience
    • Meet attendance targets and call handling quotas
    • Comfortable using computers
    • Previous customer service experience preferred
    • Strong phone etiquette and active listening skills
    • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

    WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of the job, this position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear. Travel is not required for this position.
