    Do you love working with kids and get excited about building cool things with LEGO? Are you someone who enjoys teaching—and is just as passionate about learning as you are about leading? Robots and Mentors is looking for enthusiastic, curious, and patient individuals to serve as LEGO Robotics Instructors for children ages 5–9.

    In this role, you’ll use the latest LEGO Education curriculum to spark young imaginations through robotics. Every session will give students the chance to explore teamwork, problem-solving, and creativity as they work to complete a LEGO build in just one hour. You’ll rotate between three school locations, teaching two classes per day during both morning and afternoon shifts.

    Schedule & Hours

    Part-Time | Split Shift:

    Morning: 7:00 AM – 9:00 AM

    Afternoon: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM

    Teach two classes per day across three rotating school sites.

    Compensation & Benefits

    Competitive hourly pay based on experience. $20-$22/hr

    Paid training in LEGO robotics and classroom management.

    Travel stipends may be available for multi-site coverage.

    Must pass background checks and clearances (FBI, PA Child Abuse, PA State Police & NOSR).

    Key Responsibilities

    Facilitate fun, hands-on LEGO robotics sessions aligned with LEGO Education's latest curriculum.

    Teach and manage age-appropriate groups of 20–30 students, creating a warm and supportive classroom culture.

    Foster student learning through exploration, curiosity, and structured problem-solving.

    Travel between three school sites, ensuring consistent instruction across locations.

    Set up and clean up classroom materials before and after each session.

    Encourage students to take pride in their builds, celebrate mistakes as learning moments, and collaborate as a team.

    Keep track of LEGO materials and notify supervisors of any needed replacements or updates.

    Communicate regularly with school staff and Robots and Mentors team leads.

    Who We’re Looking For

    People who love teaching and see themselves as lifelong learners.

    Individuals who find joy in watching a child “light up” when they figure something out on their own.

    Experience working with children in school, camp, or educational programs.

    Familiarity with LEGO Education products (like WeDo or Spike) is a plus, but not required—we’ll train you!

    Comfortable managing energetic classrooms with a balance of structure and fun.

    Reliable, responsible, and adaptable, with dependable transportation between school sites.

    High school diploma required; college coursework in education, child development, or STEM fields preferred.
