    Job Description

Leiluna LLC, formed in 2015, is a fast-growing e-commerce start-up that owns six different brands in the health, wellness, and beauty space and has an entire in-house operation of sixty team members all over the world. We have presence in thirteen different international markets and we are expanding in all directions including new brands, new product lines, new markets, and new opportunities for all of our team members and our affiliates. We have over 200 active products and sell on Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Etsy, and our own websites (in addition to a blossoming brick-and-mortar retail network). We are owned solely by our top leadership that are day-to-day operators of the company. We are extremely talented at launching great products that sell well and that customers love. We operate a warehouse in Tampa, FL where we manufacture the food/dietary supplements and also some of the topicals/cosmetics.

    CORE COMPETENCIES:

What makes Leiluna unique to every other eCommerce business in the world is our people and our vision. We have creative approaches to every facet of our vertically integrated operation. As our top leadership always says, “Don’t worry about our competitors constantly trying to copy us. It means we’re doing things right, and we move so fast that we’re always going to be twelve steps ahead. The more they try to reverse engineer us, the more likely they are to fall apart”.

We have taken this concept and applied it to our entire operation which shows in our abilities to produce products that people love, brands that we are proud to represent, and growth that has already begun being an exciting story to share for all of us on the team.

    OUR CULTURE:

More unique than our systems and our strategies is our community culture. Our visionaries understand that corporate culture is a system of the past. It over-stresses the individuals it is comprised of and creates an environment that robs us of our passions, our health and our happiness. We believe in mentors, not managers. We believe in supporting one another not just in our professional endeavors but in our personal growth outside of our income streams as well. The best part about our culture is that it is not finished being written. Every individual including the new recruits of today each plays their role in continuing to develop and perfect what outsiders view as idealistic and what we view as evolution.

    JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking someone with an entrepreneurial spirit that is passionate, inspired, and intuitive to take on a role of fast growth and advancement in our Supply Chain and to in time rise to the top leadership of our growing empire. The role will begin by training to become our Warehouse Lead in Tampa. You’ll quickly learn, lead and then optimize our current warehouse operations of manufacturing, receiving, and distribution. We have a small team of just five personnel and simple machinery. The majority of our manufacturing hinges on partnerships with third-party manufacturers that, with your continued learning, we will be able to bring in-house to create more control and value for our Leiluna community. We are poised to support teams of twenty plus warehouse team members by the end of the year as we are currently bottlenecked with a warehouse leader that has a dual role in our team and is looking for you to take the reins so he can move full time to research and product development. Your role’s progression will have an immediate need to learn the rules and procedures for FDA compliant manufacturing of our product and to further build on our current compliance credentials to give our visionaries more freedom to create brands that will expand our reach into regulated markets such as over-the-counter drugs, dietary supplements, and USDA Organic foods, as well as additional compliance regulation that will allow for us to enter more foreign markets. Your role will be responsible for the continued development of our supply chain operations, first starting in the warehouse but later take ownership of the entire supply chain including importing, exporting, working with specialty manufacturers, third-party logistics firms and even the transition to a significantly larger facility as we are already outgrowing the 6000 sq ft space that we currently have 3 years left of a lease on. As you progress in your role, we will recruit additional support to take on leadership needs as our team and our operations grow such that your role will become a remote position, no longer needing to have a strict schedule or be locationally dependent. The timeline for this milestone is dependent on your ability to progress yourself and the systems and team you are leading.

INITIAL/WAREHOUSE LEAD RESPONSIBILITIES: Review all site GMP SOPs and ensure the warehouse operations are following the requirements.

    1. Manage all day to day product activity at the warehouse

    2. Manage a team of all warehouse employees (5-20 employees depending on warehouse workload)

    3. Accountable for maintaining accurate inventory controls both manually and electronically.

    4. Responsible for issuing materials to the personnel required to meet production schedules.

    5. Responsible for ensuring all incoming and outgoing materials are processed accurately and timely, including job material issues, item receipts, and adjustments

    6. Supports logistics backup and purchasing as required

    7. Maintain receiving and dispatch logs

    8. Manage all receiving and shipping processes

    9. Accountable to communicate daily operations to other team managers

    10. Maintain a safe and secure production environment

    11. Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices and strict adherence to approved procedures

    12. Follow good documentation practices and ensure data integrity throughout the whole process.

    13. Ensure that production facilities are clean and disinfected when appropriate

    14. Prepare procedures, reports for validation, batch records, and cleaning records.

    15. Ensure availability of all utilities, instruments, raw materials, and packaging materials, before proceeding for the batch

    16. Produce products according to pre-approved instructions

    17. Review and ensure that all batch production records are completed and signed.

    18. Ensure that all production deviations are reported, evaluated, investigated and conclusions are recorded.

    19. Ensure the necessary calibrations and preventive maintenance of all equipment have been performed as per their schedule.

    20. Evaluate proposed changes in product, process or equipment.

    21. Oversee the Sanitation Supervisor and ensure all sanitation activities are following the Sanitation SOPs

    22. Participate in yearly site GMP and SOP training

    23. Train warehouse employees in SOPs specific to their work responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS: In this day and age, anyone can learn anything they want to online and through experience. Therefore, we are not requiring a specific degree for this position. Instead, we are looking for skills and personality:

    • Energetic
    • Passionate
    • Honest
    • Problem Solver
    • Fast Learner
    • Optimistic
    • Team Player
