  • Responsibilities

    Client is in the process of implementing a Sales Enablement and Content Automation platform, to store, manage and distribution product and client specific content, with an immediate focus on content production to automated their book-building processes. The client has the ambition to constantly improve its ability to service its clients, and this platform will integrate with their client reporting tool, their legacy document management tool and, ultimately, their CRM to make content production, updating and access as simple as possible for client service associates.

    Thus, seeking a Product Manager to work in close cooperation with IT, she / he will support the roll out of this new platform and onboarding of end users as a precursor to a potential longer term position to provide ongoing management, maintenance and enhancement of the platform.

    Role and responsibilities

    Product Strategy & Roadmap: Creation of a strategy and vision for product aligned to business strategy and objectives across internal teams. Development of a short, medium and long term roadmap for product management development in order to achieve the strategy and vision

    Enhancement & Improvements Development: Management of Product enhancement and functional improvement backlog and prioritization aligned to roadmap

    Defect & Issue Management: Management of user queries and requests relating to defects, issues and their related fixes

    User Onboarding & Communication: Maintenance of training and onboarding material on product and leadership over the user training processes

    Analytics & Adoption Monitoring: Development of usage metrics and ongoing monitoring of platform use against this

    Budget & Business Case: Maintenance and monitoring of content management budget and development of business cases where required

    Vendor Management: Required liaison to ensure appropriate support model and coordination of vendor resources & services

    Template Creation & Maintenance: Development of LiveDoc templates and LiveForm user interfaces as well as support template updates as part of the future state BAU process

    Data Sourcing & Management: Development, manipulation and feed creation of appropriate 3rd party and internal data sets as part of content and data automation activities 

    Decision-Making Authority

    Prioritization of project and support work within the guidelines agreed with the Leadership Team

    Assignment of activities to appropriately skilled or qualified staff, internal or external, as required to meet the project plans or agreed service levels

    Appointment of external consultants or contractors for specific work packages

    Management of project staff as required

     

    Qualifications & Expertise

    Degree level qualified

    Experience in the financial industry

    Proven content management / sales enablement experience. Previous exposure to, and knowledge of, top tier Content Management or Sales Enablement, such as Sharepoint, Seismic and Salesforce systems in a management, development or support role

    Experience of operating at Senior Management level and driving product decisions across an organization

    Experience of managing direct and indirect resources that are both business

    Familiarity with data manipulation tools and data management concepts, including Excel VBA logic, an understanding of SQL development principles and Agile project management methodologies
