    Position Overview

    In close cooperation with IT, she / he will support the management and oversight of the Seismic platform, coordinating business engagement, maintaining the product roadmap and prioritizing end-user requests to ensure effective maintenance and enhancement of the platform. In future the role could be expanded to include additional content management and client reporting systems, such as Vermilion.


    Role and Responsibilities

    Product Strategy & Roadmap: Creation of a strategy and vision for Seismic aligned to business strategy and objectives across internal teams. Development of a short, medium and long term roadmap for product management development in order to achieve the strategy and vision

    Enhancement & Improvements Development: Management of Seismic enhancement and functional improvement backlog and prioritization of activities to align to the product roadmap

    Defect & Issue Management: Management, trafficking, and triage of user queries and requests relating to defects, issues and their related fixes

    User Onboarding & Communication: Maintenance of training and onboarding material on Seismic and oversight of user training processes

    Analytics & Adoption Monitoring: Development of usage metrics and ongoing monitoring of platform use and adoption across the organization

    Budget & Business Case: Maintenance and monitoring of content management budget and development of business cases where required

    Vendor Management: Required liaison with Seismic to ensure appropriate support model and coordination of vendor resources & services

    Template Creation & Maintenance: Oversight of LiveDoc and LiveForm development and associated change management processes to support content automation. Supports requirements gathering and ensures template development is in line with business expectations and established best practices

    Data Sourcing & Management: Input into the development, manipulation and feed creation of appropriate 3rd party and internal data sets as part of content and data automation activities within Seismic

     

    Decision-Making Authority

    Prioritization of project and support work within the guidelines agreed with the Leadership Team

    Assignment of activities to appropriately skilled or qualified staff, internal or external, as required to address product support requests and ongoing enhancements in line with agreed service levels

    Appointment of external consultants or contractors for specific work packages

    Management of product development team as required

     

    Qualifications & Expertise

    Degree level qualified

    Experience in the financial industry

    Proven content management / sales enablement experience. Previous exposure to, and knowledge of, top tier Content Management, Sales Enablement and Client Reporting systems, such as SharePoint, Seismic, Vermilion and Salesforce in a management, development or support role

    Experience of operating at management level and driving product decisions across an organization

    Experience of managing direct and indirect resources that are both within the business & technology groups

    Familiarity with data manipulation tools and data management concepts, including Excel VBA logic, an understanding of SQL development and Agile project management methodologies

    Fluent in English

     

    Skills & Knowledge

    Content Strategy – an understanding of the content production lifecycle to drive adoption of the content automation and client servicing capabilities. The ability to define and articulate the benefits of Content Management and Sales Enablement to all levels of the business.

    Relationship Management – ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders, key decision makers and senior management across the organization.

    Project Management – has a good understanding of project management principles and Agile development practices.

    Prioritisation & Multi-Tasking - Ability to prioritise work and highlight risks within an environment of strict timeframes. Ability to work on a number of projects running in parallel.

    Communicating and Influencing – is articulate when dealing with senior management and users, and listens to their needs. Has the ability to communicate effectively and to influence
