Overview General Purpose of the Job: Seeking, a highly motivated quality inspector, willing to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Must be able to use a variety of inspection equipment, such as; micrometers, calipers, scales, or optical comparator. Candidate must be able to read and understand engineering drawings, technical documents, and work instructions. Candidates should have a good mechanical aptitude, as well as, extreme attention to detail during inspection and review of manufacturing instructions. Responsibilities Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or technical documents to complete incoming, in-process and final inspections. Can use a wide assortment of quality inspection instruments to assure components, devices, and chemicals are to LeMaitre specifications. Additional equipment would be pH Meters / Spectrophotometer. Sets up and perform destructive and nondestructive testing on raw materials, components, and finished product to determine if they meet LeMaitre criteria. Record test inspection data as well as interpret the data for a pass/fail status. Set up and perform chemical testing such as pH, conductivity, and temperature for solutions. Have a working knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDP) Have a working knowledge of American National Standards Sampling Procedure (AQL) ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2008 Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent education Bachelors degree in related field beneficial. Three to five years of related inspection experience and training.
