    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Lending Support Coordinator to join our team. This position is responsible for onboarding and funding internal loans, following up with auto dealers, processing loan applications, tracking titles, and performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties to ensure the smooth functioning of the loan department. The role involves frequent interaction with members and auto dealerships to provide exceptional service and ensure timely and accurate loan processing.

    Responsibilities

    Coordinate and execute the funding and onboarding of internal loans.

    Follow up with auto dealerships on loan-related documentation, funding status, and title processing.

    Respond to incoming calls and inquiries from dealers and credit union members regarding loan products, application statuses, and general loan information.

    Accept and process loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy.

    Track and manage vehicle titles and related documentation to maintain compliance and completeness.

    Assist members and staff with basic questions related to lending services, policies, and procedures.

    Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and organized loan files, reports, and records in compliance with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.

    Perform general clerical and administrative tasks related to the lending department, including data entry, filing, scanning, and document management.

    Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.

    Support the overall lending function and contribute to the credit union’s service and operational goals.

    Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.

    Prior experience in loan processing, dealership liaison, or administrative support within a credit union or financial institution is highly desirable.

    Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office and loan processing software.

    Member-focused with a professional and courteous demeanor.
