Job Description
Privacy certification (e.g., CIPP/US, CIPM, etc.) is a distinct plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support US Banks Privacy Risk team managing operational compliance with Privacy Laws/Regulations
- Specific focus on supporting Privacy Impact Assessment (“PIA”) process (responsible for conducting end to end PIAs across Bank applications and Bank Vendors, leading/coordinating PIA conversations with stakeholders, ensuring PIA cases and results/findings are tracked properly).
- Contribute to Privacy-related metrics for Management reporting purposes
- Other responsibilities as needed to assist team colleagues with work volume.
Qualifications – Skills required:
- BA/BS degree.
- 3-8 years of professional experience, preferably in financial services industry.
- Knowledge of privacy laws/regulations (state, national, international) and experience in Privacy and data protection concerns.
- Experience with conducting impactful reviews (PIAs, audits, process evaluations, gap assessments, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-demand environment, both independently and as part of a team, under tight deadlines and with the ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently, efficiently and effectively.
- High volume caseload requires good organizational skills.
- Attention to detail; strong analytical and investigative problem-solving abilities, with the ability to explain/support conclusions from data analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; capable of writing documentation, explaining complex topics, and interacting positively with colleagues and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products. Advanced knowledge of Excel is a plus.
