    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
    • 2-5 years of mutual fund accounting/administration experience
    • Familiarity with advanced Excel formulas
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
    • High degree of reliability and willingness to work in a team environment

    Basic Purpose: As a member of Fund Administration’s Oversight group, this individual will support a broad spectrum of fund administration and treasury services. The Fund Administration Associate will assist in the preparation of a variety of reports, analysis, and administrative tasks related to overseeing the day to day operations for Client Vance and Calvert mutual funds.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Assist in analyzing NAV accuracy and documenting exceptions.
    • Assist in local market registrations in foreign jurisdictions for funds.
    • Monitor changes in foreign jurisdiction taxation requirements and prepare related expense accruals.
    • Assist in preparing start-up documentation and analysis for fund launches.
    • Maintain organized files and facilitate the communication between Client Vance and custodian banks to ensure proper accounting treatment and instructions are followed.
    • Create and analyze expense budgets for assigned group of mutual funds and propose fixed expense daily accruals.
    • Assist in the preparation of annual 15(c) Board material.
    • Assist in the preparation and filing of required reports under Form N-PORT and Form N-CEN and perform related reviews.
    • Assist in administering analytical reports for all fund borrowing programs.
    • Prepare and timely file certifications pursuant to borrowing covenants.
    • Facilitate and coordinate the communication between Client Vance and custodian banks to ensure proper movement of cash borrowed/returned on a daily basis.
    • Assist in the preparation of materials for committee and/or Board Meetings.
    • Assist in preparation and review of daily securities lending activity pursuant to fund lending program.
    • Assist in analyzing and monitoring changes and progress within vendor Quality Standards Reports.
    • Other fund administration projects and responsibilities as assigned.
