  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    Oversee production support of core projects, including gathering and documenting requirements, translating functional requirements to technical requirements, and identifying options. Partner with business users and act as a liaison between business and technical teams.

    Act as requirements project lead for medium to large projects, directing and coordinating requirements project staff and activities.

    Coordinates development, testing, and implementation of solutions with vendors

    Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst with track record of delivering business process requirements and use cases is required.

    Solid experience and understanding of Agile Scrum and Rational Unified Process Methodology in developing use cases, use case model, supplementary requirements, and business rules is essential.

    Solid understanding of relevant business issues

    Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, influencing, prioritization, decision- making and conflict resolution skills

    Advanced SQL queries and gathering data from transactional databases across multiple platforms.

    5+ years of Data Analytics and/or Business Intelligence experience including developing advanced SQL queries and gathering data from disparate systems such as Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, and/or other databases.

    3+ years of shown experience with bank, brokerage, or financial services is preferred.

    Advanced analytical skills and significant experience with analytical tools including SAS, Python, and R

    Advanced ability to evaluate large quantities of data, summarize key findings, recommend a course of action, and present effectively to management.

    Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills to identify new solutions used to target and mitigate financial crime risk.

    Understanding of risk-based decision strategy development; knowledge of decision engine strategies

    Highly effective verbal and written communication and can explain complicated subject matter to all levels of partners within the organization including those less technically oriented.

    Superb attention to detail

    Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office products

    Financial Crime experience (ACAMS/ACFCS Certification is a plus)

    Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Analytics, or related quantitative field

    Familiar with navigating databases and has a strong analytical background.

    Will be active in the Agile process so Agile experience would be helpful.

    The candidate needs to be a self starter vs a checklist style worker.

    Someone who can take something and run with it

    Working with multiple business partners and needs to communicate effectively

    AML background is helpful but not necessary.

    Strong knowledge of MS Project, Excel, MS Word and iGraphx or Visio
