We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roofing Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in different roofing systems (but primarily steep slopes-shingles) and have a proven track record of effectively repairing and maintaining roofs. Responsibilities: • Track and maintain inventory of roofing materials • Employ hand and power tools to measure and cut materials • Assemble roofs, vents, and vapor barriers that protect homes and businesses from weather conditions • Treat roof surfaces with coatings of bitumen, caulk, and cement • Review and understand blueprints Roof Repairs • Inspect roofs to identify damage, leaks, or other issues • Perform repairs and maintenance on various types of roofing materials, including shingles and metal roofing • Replace damaged or deteriorated roofing components, such as shingles, flashing, and/or vents Diagnosis and Problem-Solving: • Diagnose the cause of roofing problems and develop effective repair solutions • Ensure that repairs are completed efficiently and to high-quality standards Safety and Compliance: • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment • Comply with local building codes and regulations during repairs and installations Documentation: • Maintain accurate records of repair work, materials used, and customer interactions Customer Service: • Communicate with customers professionally, explaining repair options and providing cost estimates Qualifications: • Must have valid driver’s license • We prefer candidates with general construction experience • Apprenticeship in roofing is required • High school diploma or GED required • Strong communication skills are required • Roofing or General construction experience is required • Valid driver’s license is required • Great balance, and ability to lift heavy materials and tools is required Compensation: $55,000+
