Our Client a Fortune 150 company is looking for a Sr. Financial Analyst to join a technology driven department in the mortgage industry. Position will be Hybrid 1-2 days a week in office, location in Miami/Blue Lagoon area.

Overview Summary: Responsible for the completion and accuracy of financial reporting, data modeling and extraction, analytics and analysis, ad-hoc reporting, proformas, and accounting functions at month end relative to, but not limited to audit, land budgeting, financial reporting.

Responsibilities Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create models in excel for budgeting and forecasting

• Business intelligence dashboard reporting

• Assist in the preparation of the monthly projection and quarterly projection.

• Print and reconcile Weekly Performance Report.

• Prepare month end and Quarter reports to Region and Corporate

• Monthly reconciliations

• Review audit compliance schedules on a quarterly basis and communicate deficiencies to the appropriate department heads.

• Assist with analyzing statistics, margins and returns to the P&L

Qualifications Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/economics is required

• MBA and or CPA preferred (not required).

• Minimum of 3 years general accounting or Finance experience required

• Strong MS Excel skills required

• JD Edwards, Hyperion, Power BI preferred (not required)

• Mortgage Industry Experience a plus. (not required)
