Senior Accountant Auditor

Location: Miami, Florida

Company Description: Client is a leading Fortune 150 Title Insurance company committed to providing exceptional services to its clients nationwide. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant Audit to join our dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct finance and accounting audits for the company's escrow and title retail branches.
• Conduct financial and accounting audits for the company's accounting processes and systems.
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Evaluate internal controls and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare audit reports and communicate findings to management.
• Assist in the development of audit programs and testing procedures.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend corrective actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure audit objectives are met.
• Stay updated on accounting standards and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. (required)
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of audit experience preferred in the escrow and title industry.
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards and procedures.
• Experience with JD Edwards, Hyperion, and SoftPro is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills (required).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and audit software.
