Hi - I live in Manhattan and am looking for part time childcare for one 7-year-old boy. Schedule is before school, 5:45a-8:15a and would involve preparing breakfast and lunch, ensuring child gets dressed and taking child to school for 8:15a drop off on the subway. Also need someone for afterschool. Pickup either at 4p or 5p and drop child off at home until approximately 6-7p. Afternoon responsibilities would include setting child up to do homework and prepping dinner. Would also include light housework including loading/unloading dishwasher, taking trash out, and light vacuuming. We are located in Midtown West and school is located in Chelsea. Travel is three subway stops - takes about 15 minutes. The schedule would vary from week to week but involves 2-3 mornings/week and 2-3 afternoons/week each week. One friendly cat lives in the house. My child is smart, easygoing and enjoys video games, playing board games and with action figures for pretend epic battles. I think the ideal candidate could be a college student looking for part-time work involving childcare. Can split job into only mornings or only afternoons if necessary. Ideal candidate would have some childcare or work experience involving children (such as coaching, tutoring, camp counsellor, baby sitter, etc). Need someone starting late November/early December 2023.
